My 5th go around

What can I say? I’m a fan of Mercedes E-Class I’m on my 4th Mercedes starting in 1994 with the C-280 and My most recent is the 2008 E-350 4matic. The design has the look of a luxury vehicle which it should. The goggle headlights are my favorite which I miss since Mercedes discontinued that headlamp style. That probably explains why I haven’t let go of this beauty. The luxurious interior is elegant and beautifully designed. The panoramic roof is something to behold I’ve certainly got lots of looks and compliments over the years since I keep this car in immaculate condition. It’s probably the cleanest 2008 E-Class in my state. Due to the 4-Matic it’s a tad bit rough, you definitely feel the AWD but the drive is adequate and it’s decent on MPG 17/24 especially highway for a 6 cylinder with O/D. I’m biased because I’m a fan but honestly you get what you pay for. I’m definitely satisfied but I’m not to thrilled with the newer years and body styles. - 5.0
Class Ride

Purchased a used one with 75K miles. Now have over 100K miles. Only problem was burned out light bulb. Very pleased with ride and comfort. Excellent road car for long trips. Very pleased with fuel economy. Plan to buy a new one when this one hits 200K miles. You can really tell the favorable difference between this and American/Japanese cars. - 5.0

Bought my 06 E500 Wagon in Tulsa with 150,000mi on it. Drove it back to NYC in just under 24 hours and it never missed a beat. The car is heavy and more boaty with the air suspension, but you feel very safe compared to most Japanese or American cars. I have since replaced the air with coilovers. The sound and feel of the doors closing/opening is very reminiscent of the older benz's that is that classic tank feel. I have driven the car daily for over 5 years and doing all of my own maintenance, and the only major issue I've had was when the original radiator started leaking at 175,000 miles. Don't skimo out on OEM level parts or you will have a failure as I did from poor part tolerances on the oil cooler lines. The original Harmon Kardon sound system is also amazing for its age. Original sticker on the wagon was $75,000 only missing the keyless go and parking sensor option. I have driven to Maine and back in one day and it did it with no issues.
